Ryan Jarus, CPA
Ryan Jarus is a Certified Public Accountant specializing in the tax and accounting needs of physicians and small medical groups in California. Ryan has Accounting (BS) and Masters of Business Taxation (MBT) degrees from the University of Southern California. After graduating with a degree in accounting Ryan worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Los Angeles. While at PWC Ryan worked within the firm’s investment, real estate and banking groups focusing on the taxation of privately held corporations and partnerships as well as publicly traded corporations.
In 2005 Ryan left PWC to assist with the turnaround of a manufacturing company adversely affected by competition from Chinese imports. During his tenure as COO Ryan implemented manufacturing, accounting, and sales management systems and processes enabling the company to service a six year CAGR of 47.5% and grow from five employees to over 100.
In 2012 Ryan formed Jarus & Co to offer tax, accounting and advisory services to privately held small businesses. As the firm grew doctors and small medical groups came to represent a large portion of the firm’s client base and in 2017 began to focus exclusively on physicians and their unique tax and accounting needs.
Specialization in the needs of professionals in the medical industry has provided Ryan the ability to develop a unique platform providing physicians a turnkey solution for bookkeeping, payroll and tax preparation via a single provider.
Ryan attended Loyola High School in downtown Los Angeles and is an Eagle Scout. He resides in San Juan Capistrano with his wife, son and daughter. Ryan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In his personal life Ryan likes to spend time with his family at the beach or mountain biking.
